My latest VKFF certificate arrived this morning, which prompted me to add some recent certificates to the blog.
National Wattle Day
A special event promoted by National Coordinator Paul VK5PAS. The weather forecast for the day was for a reasonable day, so I headed out for some of the local Parks…..
Thanks to all the Hunters.
Murray River Parks Hunter 51
The Murray River Parks Award has undergone some changes over recent months and it appears that the behind the scenes team are still working on the required scripting for the LogSearch database. I know that the team are all volunteers and also lead busy lives, so I for one am happy to wait for the work to be done and will claim an Award once implemented on LogSearch. Recently, the 51 Hunter certificate was working, so I claimed the Award.
Thanks to all the Activators for being out there.
VKFF Hunter Honour Roll 1625 Parks worked
The next level for Hunting Parks within Australia. I now have 1625 Parks worked confirmed. Several Activators were responsible for the last 25 Park references:
Mike VK6MB – 9 Parks
Scott VK4CZ – 5 Parks
Nik VK3ZK – 2 Parks
Steve VK4JSS – 2 Parks
Rob VK4AAC, Neil VK4HNS, Deryck VK4FDJL, Ian VK5CZ, Jon VK7JON,
Mitch VK7XDM and Helen VK7FOLK – 1 Park each.
Again, thanks to all involved: The WWFF and VKFF admin team members and especially the Activators.
And I must remember to send off for the special VK5 National Parks award for contacts in August……
